This is a major new release -- the text editor has been greatly improved. Opening larger HTML Files -- after the first load, the speed and scrolling is much faster. Point the mouse pointer at the "thumb" in the scrollbar click the mouse button and move the "thumb" up or down to scroll from one end of a 30KB document to the other.
Multiple Images may be placed NEXT to each other. Images may be placed anywhere in a text line -- simply delete images with the "backspace" key -- like text. Hyperlinking Images, click with the right mouse button on the image.
Background and hyperlinks may be viewed in different colors. However, only the PRO version generates the tags automatically.
This new release of our 16-bit version displays HTML 2.0 code in a
near WYSIWYG format, just like before.
However, if the document has any HTML 3.0 or special Netscape codes
imbedded in it, those codes will be displayed in a "RAW" element.
RAW element = any not recognized HTML 2.0 code, is displayed in a
white background. Read about it in the Help file.
This version detects and shows instantly all not recognized
HTML 2.0 tags. Great for checking documents.
Another new feature is the input of different "Head" element
information suggested for HTML 3.0.
Click the document information button in the toolbar-- in the new
window are now positions for different inputs "title","other head
elements"(your meta inf.) and "body attributes".
Attributes can now be easy added to elements in the document. Click
with your right mouse button on any document element -- you
will notice a new line in the pop-up window "edit attributes".
The image dialog box has been changed also, double click with left
mouse button on any image, you will notice the provision for the
input of attributes (needed for image maps etc.).
Lists and nested lists -- can now be changed from unordered - ordered
- to definition lists, by changing the selection in the pop-up window
